– We finally got The Wrong Object feat.
Stanley Jason Zappa's Live at Zappanale
2008 out of the pressing plant, just in
time for the end of the year shopping
frenzy. The album is available for worldwide

arranging some new pieces to be included in
the next studio album (to be released in 2010)

– David Minjauw is mixing and mastering a
new live CD featuring Stanley Jason Zappa on
tenor sax and Nick Skrowaczewski on
percussion. "Live at Zappanale 2008" will be
released by Fazzul Music by the end of the
year.

– Our good friend and ally Alex Maguire was
voted 3rd best keyboard player of the year
(behind Hans-Peter Pfammatter and Chick
Corea!) in Arnaldo de Souteiro 30th Annual

concert (which includes 50-odd dates with
the current line-up) at the Jazzstation in
Brussels.

– The Wrong Object' Stories from the Shed
was voted best progressive album of the year
2008 by All About Jazz. The CD also
reached no 11 on the Philly-based
Gagliarchives
Top 100 of 2008 and no 6 in Harry De Vries's
Progopinion Best of 2008.

2007), the Wrong Object's collaboration with
the late Elton Dean, was included in the

daily newspaper Tribuna. The article
"Os melhores do jazz em 2007" was signed by
no less than heavyweight producer Arnaldo
DeSouteiro, who has produced releases by the

(VPRO) is
working on a one-hour documentary on The
Wrong Object. The program will be recorded
under the direction of renowned and
Canterbury-affiliated jazz critic, musician

and will feature interviews as well as live
excerpts from the band's October gigs.
